When warmer weather comes around, my smoothie consumption definitely increases! Here is a delicious and easy smoothie recipe that will cool you off instantly!
Choco Peanut Butter Banana Smoothie
- 1 banana
- 4 ice cubes
- 1/2 cup almond milk
- 1/2 cup applesauce
- 1 Tbsp. cocoa powder
- 1 Tbsp. peanut butter
- Add everything to your blender and blend until smooth.
This smoothie was so incredibly delicious! You could not really taste the applesauce, it just made it creamier. However, the cocoa powder, peanut butter, and banana shown through perfectly. It was an awesome combination of flavors and I highly recommend it!
You can always had in your favorite protein powder for an extra punch of protein, but the peanut butter adds some protein and healthy fats to the smoothie.
